Rik Battaglia plays Pedro Valverde, a suave Spanish buccaneer who specializes in marrying women to obtain their dowries. He soon, however, meets Soledad (Ingeborg Schoner), unsuspecting princess of a rich Indian tribe in South America. Pedro falls in love with her and attempts to shield her from the rascalities of Alfonso De Montelimar (Guy Madison), a cunning nobleman who is the sworn foe of Valverde.
