This film is director Primo Zeglio's scene-for-scene remake of his own 1951 swashbuckler "La Vendetta del Corsaro". Lex Barker plays a pirate who vows revenge on the murderer of his father.  When he finds that the governor of Cartagena has imprisoned his sister, intending to marry her and usurp the throne of Darien, Barker comes to the rescue.  Also starring Sylvia Lopez, Vira Silenti, Luciano Mari, and others.  Dubbed in English.
